COMPARATIVE EVALUATION OF POSTOPERATIVE PAIN SCORES AND OPIOID CONSUMPTION IN SEPTORHINOPLASTY AFTER ADMINISTRATION OF SINGLE-DOSE PRE-EMPTIVE PARACETAMOL AND IBUPROFEN: A RANDOMIZED CONTROLLED TRAIL

Introduction Septorhinoplasty operates on cartilage and bone of the nose is ensued by severe postoperative pain. The objective this study to evaluate effects preoperative administration intravenous (IV) paracetamol ibuprofen pain scores in patients undergoing septorhinoplasty. Methodology 150 septorhinoplasty were randomly assigned into three groups with 50 each group. control group (Group A) was administered 100 ml saline solution, B) 1000 mg IV C) 800 before surgery. Opioid analgesics employed achieve analgesia. Postoperative evaluated using Visual Analogue Scale (VAS). opioid consumption adverse also recorded for patient.
